Exotic Weapon Changes in Destiny 2

Quicksilver Storm and Touch of Malice Nerfs

In a recent update, Bungie has made some changes to two Exotic weapons in Destiny 2: the Quicksilver Storm auto rifle and the Touch of Malice scout rifle. Both weapons have lost their 40 damage increase, which was a significant part of their effectiveness in high-level content.

Quicksilver Storm

The Quicksilver Storm was a popular choice for players looking for a fast-firing, high-damage auto rifle. The weapon's exotic perk, Holster, allowed it to be stowed and drawn quickly, making it ideal for quickly engaging and disengaging from combat. The 40 damage increase that the Quicksilver Storm received in a previous update further increased its lethality, making it one of the best auto rifles in the game.

However, with the recent nerf, the Quicksilver Storm is no longer as powerful as it once was. The loss of the 40 damage increase has made it less effective against high-level enemies, and it is now outclassed by other auto rifles in the same archetype.

Touch of Malice

The Touch of Malice is a unique Exotic scout rifle that has been a favorite of players since its introduction in Destiny 1. The weapon's exotic perk, Touch of Malice, allows it to deal bonus damage to Taken enemies and heal the player when they kill Taken enemies.

The Touch of Malice was already a powerful weapon before the recent update, and the 40 damage increase that it received made it even more deadly. However, with the recent nerf, the Touch of Malice has lost some of its power. The loss of the 40 damage increase has made it less effective against high-level Taken enemies, and it is now outclassed by other scout rifles in the same archetype.

Overall, the recent nerfs to the Quicksilver Storm and Touch of Malice are a significant blow to their effectiveness. Both weapons are still viable in high-level content, but they are no longer as powerful as they once were.
