Ava Arrested, Kristina Admits Rewatching Interview
Kate Mansi discusses Kristina and Ava's Sparring and Filming That Fall
Ava Jerome (Maura West) was arrested by Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) on "General Hospital" after being accused of trying to kill Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) admitted to rewatching the interview Ava gave to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and can now see that Ava was manipulating the situation.
Ava told Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) that she took Sonny's medications to be tested and they were less than what he should be. This news has caused suspicion to fall on Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who has been secretly giving Sonny a placebo as part of a plan to destroy him.
Kate Mansi, who plays Kristina, recently spoke to Soap Opera Digest about her character's sparring with Ava and the filming of that fall. "It was a lot of fun to film," she said. "The writers did a great job of writing the scene, and the director did a great job of staging it. It was a very emotional scene, and I think it really showed the depth of Kristina's feelings for Sonny."
