Christoph Philipps Signs One-Year Deal with Hamburg Towers

Hamburg Towers have strengthened their roster for the upcoming season with the addition of forward Christoph Philipps. The 24-year-old joins the German side on a one-year deal following his departure from SC Rasta Vechta.
Philipps, born in 1998, stands at 203 cm tall and brings a wealth of experience to the Hamburg Towers. The German forward has played in the Bundesliga since 2019, representing teams such as Niners Chemnitz and SC Rasta Vechta. During his time in the German top flight, Philipps averaged 8.5 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per game.
Hamburg Towers Head Coach Raoul Korner expressed his delight at Philipps' signing. "We are very happy to have Christoph on board," said Korner. "He is a young and talented player who fits perfectly into our system. Christoph is a versatile forward who can score, rebound, and defend. He will be a valuable addition to our team."

Hamburg Towers will begin their 2022-23 Bundesliga campaign on September 24th with a game against Crailsheim Merlins. Philipps is expected to make his debut for the club in that game.
